Responsabilités

• Assist customers, Inside Sales, and Account Manager with technical questions.
• Act as a technical phone support representative, providing basic application assistance.
• Develop step-by-step procedure guides for customers and internal use.
• Assist Engineering team with lab equipment setup for customer workshops and seminars.
• Support engineers with project work as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

As part of our technical sales team, you will gain extensive product knowledge through training and develop long-term professional relationships by working with a collaborative, skillful team of peopleOur cooperative program’s developmental process includes a structured, graduated work plan and an assigned work coach, who will mentor you on various projects such as assisting the sales team on achieving specific goals and objectives or working with McNaughton-McKay engineers on various application projects. This process will expand sales and technical knowledge, while allowing hands-on experience and exposure to automation products, giving our co-ops the opportunity to ‘Put Theory into Practice’.As Engineering Co-Op, you will:Assist customers, Inside Sales, and Account Manager with technical questions.Act as a technical phone support representative, providing customers with basic application assistance.Proactively sell phone support contracts and software update contracts to assigned accounts.Create and updates step-by-step procedure guides for customers and internal use.Maintain the company’s automation equipment that is on display in the demonstration room.Use demonstration hardware inventory to develop ‘proofs of concept’.Assist the Engineering team with hands-on lab equipment setup for customer workshops and seminars.Assist engineers with project work as needed.Perform other related duties as assigned.Learning & Development OpportunitiesExposure to industrial automation products and electrical distribution solutionsDevelopment of troubleshooting and application support skillsCross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teamsMentorship from experienced engineers and technical leadersExperience supporting real-world customer applications across multiple industriesDesired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Include:Ability to work with minimal supervision; organizing, prioritizing, and completing tasks at own initiativeDemonstrated problem solving skillsDemonstrated professional verbal and written communication skillsStrong initiative and teamwork skillsPositive attitude with customers, co-workers, and managementKnowledge of MS operating systems and MS OfficeDetail oriented and excellent follow-up skillsReporting Structure:Reports To: Engineering SupervisorDirect Reports: NoneWorking Conditions:Normal office environment.
