Responsibilities

• Under detailed instruction from the instructor, assists in facilitating classroom activities.
• Sets up and monitors usage of classroom equipment and supplies; ensures items are returned to storage.
• Communicates with students and answers questions on routine issues.
• Assists with safety procedures and injury prevention.
• Plans activities and prepares teaching materials for classes.
• Prepares and develops teaching aids for use in the classroom, including handouts.
• May lecture or tutor students.
• Grading classwork and keeping records.
