Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Aguadilla, PR seeks an entry-level Change Requests Writer Analyst, Engineering Services to support Configuration Management under Power and Controls. You will collaborate with engineering disciplines to develop an integrated execution plan and ensure design changes meet QMS and customer requirements.

The role offers hybrid work with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, relocation not offered, and growth opportunities within a dynamic team in Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) required or preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and technical writing.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Work with multiple document types (New Release, Drawing Updates, Deviation, Waivers).
• Plan, gather, maintain, format, and manipulate configuration data and design changes.
• Review design changes for QMS and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Electrical engineers, Programs and Quality.
• Evaluate engineering inputs for classification and impact across products.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, regulations, and product interrelationships.
• Sequence changes into product structures for production clearance.
• Process change-requests in the PLM system and route for approvals.
• Support meetings, share status, and track metrics.
• Maintain logs and support audits and corrective actions.
