Mesquite Gaming LLC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician with a focus on carpentry to preserve and upgrade property appearances across our Mesquite properties. You will collaborate with in-house teams and, when needed, external contractors on remodel projects.
The role requires at least 3 years of carpentry experience, the ability to read blueprints, and strong communication in English. Expect physical work in a casino environment with safety-conscious procedures and varied shifts.

Responsible for maintaining and repairing the existing appearance of property and fixtures, assisting with in-house remodels and working with outside contractors on larger projects for all Mesquite Gaming properties.
Minimum three (3) years experience in general carpentry required. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English. Must be able to follow written and verbal directions and work independently. Must have effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
The work requires physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
Work in undesirable conditions including extreme heat (exceeding 120 degrees) cold, wind and rain. The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, carts, or machines, or with irritant chemicals. Employees may be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, glasses, hard hats, gloves and boots. Use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations and traffic signals. The work environment involves exposure to secondhand smoke in a casino. This is a 24 hour/7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
