Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of professional work experience in roles/industries relevant for college graduates.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Applicants must demonstrate the potential to perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual career coaching appointments focused on career exploration, job search strategy, resume and cover letter development, interview preparation, and professional skill building.
• Guide students through self-assessments, career research, and decision-making processes.
• Design and deliver workshops and presentations on career readiness topics.
• Assist students in identifying experiential learning opportunities such as internships, research, and campus employment.
• Maintain accurate appointment notes and utilize career services technologies and data systems.
• Provide pro-active outreach to students to support their transition from college to career and to gather internship/job placement outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues across campus to support student success.
• Participate in professional development activities to strengthen coaching effectiveness and industry knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
