Job summary

Stanford University is seeking a Building Manager to oversee the William F. Durand and Hugh H. Skilling buildings, part of the Aero/Astro and Materials Science and Engineering departments.

This onsite role requires ensuring facilities are maintained, secure, and compliant, while coordinating with a team of managers and safety specialists on a portfolio of over 10 buildings. The Building Manager will lead operations, support renovation projects, develop processes, and provide consistent service

Qualifications

• Five years related, demonstrated facilities management experience.
• Experience interpreting facilities policies and guidelines.
• Experience coordinating maintenance and renovations budgets.
• Knowledge of safety and hazardous material handling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as property operations / maintenance point of contact for complex facilities.
• Coordinate routine maintenance services and budget.
• Manage space allocation and inventory records.
• Coordinate safety, security, and emergency preparedness programs.
• Oversee small local projects, scheduling and budgeting.
