Job summary

The Energy Cooperative in Newark, Ohio, is seeking an Engineering Assistant at our Hebron Service Center. This admin role reports to the Director of Engineering, Gas, and coordinates engineering functions while delivering excellent member service.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree with project coordination and strong Microsoft Office skills, plus experience in customer service and familiarity with CIS.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with project coordination experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and public interaction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CIS systems.
• Working knowledge of construction practices and procedures is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering and operations workflow to meet member needs.
• Enter new account information into the CIS database and maintain accuracy.
• Provide general administrative support to the Engineering Department.
• Track data and prepare monthly/yearly reports on taps and meters.
• Assist with PUCO audits and project data collection.
• Maintain professionalism and deliver superior member service.
