The position requires an ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications and developing well thought out engineering solutions onsite when necessary. Southcoast Region encompasses Southeast and Southwest Alaska.
To be successful in this position, the selected applicant will possess the following core competencies:
Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and theories of engineering and their practical applications.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools to construct objects, structures, and buildings.
Is open to change and new information; adapts behavior or work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles; effectively deals with ambiguity.
Both levels of this position require:
A valid driver's license.
