ABM's Engineering Assistant role in Washington, DC is a hands-on position supporting the Assistant Director of Building Engineering. You will help ensure proper operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire safety systems while assisting with routine testing and installations.

You will collaborate with contracted vendors, perform repairs as needed, and assist with various facilities duties in a dynamic, supportive team environment.

Descripción del empleo

Pay: $34.00 per hour.

The Engineering Assistant will work directly with the Assistant Director of Building Engineering and will support the day-to-day operations of building systems and maintenance. The role involves ensuring the proper functioning of essential systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire safety equipment. The Engineering Assistant will also assist with routine testing, installations, repairs, collaborate with contractors, and assist with other facilities duties as needed. This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience in building engineering and maintenance within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
