Job summary

HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth company, invites engineering undergraduates in the Vernon Hills area to join an Applications Engineering Lab internship. You will help assemble and test prototype valves and circuits, supporting R&D testing and vehicle systems analysis.

You will gain hands-on experience in instrumentation, motion control CAN-based controllers, and calibration routines, while preparing materials for trade shows and assisting the Technical Services team with customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering undergraduate program.
• Agriculture background highly desirable.
• Advanced computing and computer knowledge.
• Good technical/mechanical aptitude.
• Self-directed and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/test prototype valves and circuits in our Applications Engineering Lab
• Assist with applications R & D testing and vehicle technical support
• Assist with instrumentation and motion control CAN bases controller programming
• Conduct scheduled calibration on test instrumentation
• Create/prepare material used for trade shows
• Assist Technical Services group with customer inquiries
• Collect and analyze prototype test data and report writing
