6–8+ years of experience applying Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or Advanced Analytics to solve business or operational problems
Experience with Machine Learning and Applied Statistics
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

Partner with engineering, operations, reliability, integrity, records, and asset management teams to identify opportunities for AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
Translate business challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions.
Build and deploy machine learning models using Python for predictive analytics, classification, regression, clustering, and natural language processing.
Develop Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions utilizing LLMs, prompt engineering, and workflow automation.
Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Design Power BI dashboards and business intelligence tools that support operational decision-making.
Develop clean, maintainable Python code within Git repositories while following quality and security standards.
Support model deployment, monitoring, documentation, and basic MLOps practices.
Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We're looking for an experienced Business Data & AI Specialist to help transform how one of North America's leading natural gas transmission organizations leverages data to improve reliability, asset management, compliance, and operational decision-making.

This is an opportunity to work directly with engineering, operations, asset management, integrity, reliability, and business leaders to develop practical AI solutions that create measurable business value—not just dashboards and reports.

What You'll Do
