Job summary

University of Louisville is seeking a Manager, Student Admissions to lead undergraduate recruitment efforts for the J.B. Speed School Office of Admissions and coordinate outreach to strengthen the engineering pipeline.

The role will counsel prospective students and families through the admissions process, develop recruitment initiatives in assigned territories, and collaborate with schools, nonprofits, and industry partners. Travel, evening, and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead undergraduate recruitment initiatives and coordinate outreach programs to strengthen the engineering pipeline and expand access to engineering education.
• Counsel and assist prospective students and families navigating the university admissions process; develop and manage recruitment initiatives for prospective students in assigned territories; plan and facilitate recruitment and yield programs; develop relationships with schools, community organizations, nonprofit agencies, industry partners, and campus stakeholders.
• Coordinate outreach initiatives to enhance engineering awareness and educational opportunities for K-12 students, support STEM programs and community partnerships, assist with engineering camps and workshops, and support the Speed School Student Ambassador Program.
• This position will require extensive travel as well as some evening and weekend work.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field
