Job summary

Astronautics Corporation of America (Astronautics) seeks a Configuration Coordinator at its Oak Creek, WI headquarters. The role focuses on reviewing, approving, activating, and archiving data, performing internal audits, and preparing data packages for contractual deliveries.

Hybrid on-site work is expected with reporting to the Data Services Manager. You will mentor staff on configuration management concepts and lead procedures to ensure efficient workflows, with a strong emphasis on process

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in a data management or engineering administration role.
• Must be able to work on U.S. government programs or obtain security clearance in the future.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Experience working with an ERP System and MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Flexibility to work additional hours when needed.

What You Will Do:

We are seeking a Configuration Coordinator! In this role, you will review, approve, activate, and archive datasubmittedby various departments in the organization while ensuring proper processes have been followed. You will also perform internal audits on stalled data in the approval process, prepare customer data packages for contractual deliveries,participatein process improvements, andassistwith engineering library activities.

This hybrid on-site position is at our Oak Creek, WI headquarters. You will report directly to the Data Services Manager.

How You Will Do It:

• Work to fulfill Configuration Management Service Requests as assigned, including:
• Engineering Change Orders
• Document management
• Software archiving
• Componentrequests
• Engages with strategic projects to ensure Configuration Management can deliver required functionality within projecttimeframes.
• Mentor the organization on Configuration Management services, concepts, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain company memberships.
• Assistlibrary visitors in conducting research andlocatingresources.
• Organize all library resources so they are easy tolocate.
• Evaluate library inventory needs and place orders.
• Lead configuration management procedures, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow.
• Monitor process performance and troubleshoot issues when necessary.

What We Look For:

Required

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three years of experience in a data management or engineering administration role.

• Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Electronics manufacturing experience.
• Engineering Librarian experience is a plus.
