Job summary

Standard Nuclear is seeking an experienced Technician, Engineered Systems to support installation, fabrication, and maintenance of engineered process systems for nuclear fuel development and manufacturing.

You will work hands-on with vacuum systems, furnaces, gas delivery systems, instrumentation and piping, reading drawings, and supporting commissioning and troubleshooting activities in a regulated nuclear environment.

Qualifications

Experience interpreting drawings, schematics, P&IDs and equipment manuals.
5+ years hands-on experience maintaining, installing, fabricating, or troubleshooting industrial process equipment in demanding environments.
Familiarity with instrumentation, piping, and utility systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, modify, and support engineered process equipment, fixtures, piping, and mechanical assemblies.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process equipment and supporting systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic, electrical, and instrumentation issues and implement root-cause actions.
Read drawings and engineering instructions to support installation and commissioning.
