Job summary

The DGS Office of External Affairs seeks a Senior Engineering Authority to oversee complex wastewater permitting within Delaware's Division of Water. You will provide expert technical review of major infrastructure projects and lead wastewater treatment and disposal initiatives while shaping permitting modernization through standards and guidance.

You will mentor engineering staff, provide technical leadership, and coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies on critical infrastructure

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Delaware Professional Engineering license or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, Industrial, or Mechanical engineering.
  • 3 years of engineering project management experience including planning, scheduling and coordination.
  • 1 year of experience in Environmental or Water Resource and Protection field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Key qualifications:

  • 3 years of engineering project management experience including planning, scheduling, and coordination
  • 1 year of experience in Environmental or Water Resource and Protection field
  • Valid driver's license (not suspended, revoked, or disqualified)
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
