Job summary

US Tech Solutions seeks an Engr III Spec-Interconnect to lead technical guidance, project management, and execution for transport network initiatives.

You will focus on national NNI and Access leaf interconnect capacity, develop plans, monitor port usage, and manage related projects, while designing and documenting network diagrams and layouts with knowledge of wireless technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 5 years in cellular/telecommunications Transport engineering.
• Experience designing and documenting network diagrams and layouts.
• Familiar with EBH/SevOne tools and capacity forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance, project management, and execution for transport network projects.
• Manage national NNI and Access leaf interconnect capacity; develop technical plans and monitor usage.
• Create and manage purchase orders and related projects.
• Design, maintain, and document network diagrams and layouts; understand wireless tech.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Network Assurance, HQ and vendors; manage cross-functional teams.

• The Engr III Spec-Interconnect is responsible for providing technical guidance, project management, and execution for transport network projects.
• These projects focus on the management of NNI and Access leaf interconnect nationally. The candidate will be responsible for development and execution of technical plans for adding additional NNI capacity, monitoring access leaf port usage, cutting purchase orders, and creating/managing associated projects.
• Experience designing, maintaining, and documenting network diagrams and layouts
• Understanding of various wireless network technologies including switching, RF, transport and data
• Familiar with the EBH reporting and SevOne tools
• Experience managing capacity on EBH networks
• Demonstrated expert knowledge and proven experience with the full suite of Google suite of productivity tools
• Ability twork with minimal supervision and make sound technical judgments in a demanding environment.
• Understanding of operational concepts of various business groups including Engineering, Network Assurance, HQ and Vendors
• Ability twork on cross-functional teams taking intconsideration the goal of the various internal customers
• Experience managing 3rd party vendor relationships and/or resources
• Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability twork with others without conflict and achieve goals

Duration: 30 Months

• Interconnection agreements
• Ethernet backhaul design
• Fiber testing and troubleshooting experience

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience required.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the cellular/telecommunications industry in a Transport engineering role.
