Olive-Harvey College is seeking an Engineer Trainee to provide efficient and professional engineering services for the maintenance of the building and grounds.

The role requires Local 399 apprenticeship listing, knowledge of building operations and mechanical ability, and a high school diploma. Chicago residency within six months of hire is required; equal opportunity employer.

ENGINEER TRAINEE - FULL TIME

Olive-Harvey College is seeking a qualified Engineer Trainee to provide efficient and professional engineering services for the maintenance of the building and grounds of the College.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains the building equipment and machinery to keep them in excellent working condition.
• Adheres to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current listing on the Local # 399’s Apprenticeship List is required.
• Knowledge of building operations, systems and equipment repair methods with mechanical ability required.
• Must possess a high school diploma or the equivalent.

Salary: $18.50 per hour

Offered salary will be determined by the respective collective bargaining agreement.

This position is represented by Local 399
Chicago residency is required for all full-time employees within six months of hire.
