Job summary

Grundfos GmbH is seeking an Engineer, Support Specialist to serve as the primary internal contact for strategic accounts within our Commercial Building Services division in the USA. You will resolve complex inquiries, ensure seamless order fulfillment, and drive opportunities to grow business relationships.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, technical aptitude for pump products, and cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of pump industry experience with direct customer-facing engagement.
• Proficiency with SAP R/3 or S/4HANA and CRM platforms.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI experience.
• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated internal contact for strategic accounts, managing escalated inquiries across the full order-to-delivery lifecycle including quotations, order processing, shipment tracking, and complaint resolution.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive sales growth, strengthen customer engagement, and support revenue targets.
• Process and manage complex orders, coordinate changes, and consolidate shipments to improve delivery efficiency for project-based sales.
• Organize and deliver training and onboarding for strategic account employees, including CSSC materials and sales presentations.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Regional Managers, Finance, and Supply Chain to resolve disputes and supply chain concerns proactively.
• Promote digital self-help tools (GPC, MyGrundfos, Extranet) and provide regular reporting on key account performance, opportunities, and risks.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the USA Customer Service & Shared Services Center (CSSC) team, you'll create impact by Strengthening strategic customer relationships and expanding market presence by delivering tailored solutions that position Grundfos as a comprehensive, one-stop solution provider. As our new Engineer, Support Specialist, you will be serving as the primary internal point of contact for strategic accounts within our Commercial Building Services division, resolving complex inquiries and ensuring seamless order fulfillment while identifying opportunities to grow business relationships.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Serve as the dedicated support contact for strategic accounts, managing escalated inquiries across the full order-to-delivery lifecycle including quotations, order processing, shipment tracking, and complaint resolution
• Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive sales growth, strengthen customer engagement, and support revenue targets
• Process and manage complex orders, coordinate customer-requested changes, and consolidate shipments to improve delivery efficiency for project-based sales
• Organize and deliver training and onboarding activities for strategic account employees, including tailored CSSC materials and sales presentations
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Regional Managers, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve disputes, credit issues, and supply chain concerns proactively
• Promote Grundfos digital self-help tools (GPC, MyGrundfos, Extranet) and provide regular reporting on key account performance, opportunities, and risks

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a highly organized, analytically sharp professional with deep customer service experience, technical aptitude for pump products, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders to elevate the customer experience. We would also imagine that you have:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical degree in lieu of degree 5+ years of relevant pump industry experience with direct customer-facing engagement
• Proficiency with SAP R/3 or S/4HANA and CRM platforms preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel (macros, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, and experience with Power BI dashboards
• Authorization to work in the USA without employer sponsorship

It is a plus if you also have:

• Technical expertise in reading and interpreting pump designs, specifications, and related documentation
• Familiarity with the order-to-cash (OTC) cycle, supply chain processes, or operations environments
• Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders and peers across cross-functional teams without direct authority

The salary range for this position is $61,000 to $92,000. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s & Peerless Pump Company total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Certain roles are eligible to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization.
