Assess current and future technology requirements in order to identify strategic opportunities for design and process improvements within Micron. Perform decision analysis and feasibility studies on proposed projects and tasks. Define design requirements for tasks and projects that consider end user needs, statutory requirements, and business needs. Assess workload and resources required to implement a design and work with a cross functional team to plan for and execute on project deliverables. Perform design and development work to meet project or task requirements. Help define manufacturing and engineering support solutions. Plan, build, and refine prototype designs including test and verification. Document and control designs.
Support prototype qualification by the customer including deployment, design changes, and issue resolution. Manage engineering changes using version control processes. Support released designs for issues or additional design and development requests.
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
