Job summary

Williams International, a privately owned jet engine maker, is seeking Engineers (Rotational) to join a dynamic team and rotate through design, manufacturing, product development and analytics across engineering disciplines.

The program spans one year in each of two to three areas, then places you into a permanent engineering assignment that fits your skills. A bachelor’s degree in a listed engineering field and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, Materials Science, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • GPA 3.0 or above (preferred).
  • Candidates should be self-motivated and proactive with excellent communication skills.
  • One to two years of summer intern or co‑op experience in an engineering environment is desirable.
  • Previous exposure to NX CAD/CAM, Python and ANSYS FEA/CFD is a plus.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Position may require ability to obtain U.S. Government Security Clearance.

The Opportunity

Williams International hasexciting opportunities forEngineers (Rotational)to join our dynamic team to push the boundaries of excellence and innovation in the aerospace industry.

Recent college graduates that enter Williams International’s Rotational Engineering Program can expect to spend one year's time in each of two to three different engineering disciplines developing a comprehensive understanding of the product. The rotation programs are coordinated with each individual engineer and typically include a combination of design, manufacturing, product development and analytical roles. At the end of the rotation, the engineer is placed into a regular engineering assignment that suits the skills/interest of the individual and the needs of the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, Materials Science, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or similar technical discipline with an interest in gas turbine engine design and development
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, preferred
  • Candidates should be self‑motivated and proactive with excellent communication skills
  • One to two years of summer intern or co‑op experience in an engineering environment is desirable
  • Previous exposure to NX CAD/CAM, Python and ANSYS FEA/CFD is a plus
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
