Job summary

Williams International is seeking entry-level Rotation Engineers for its Controls/Software Rotational Engineering Program at the Pontiac, Michigan location. The program spans two to three engineering areas, including engine control design, software, and embedded hardware development, before placement into a permanent role.

Recent graduates with a relevant engineering degree and exposure to C programming, microcontrollers, and system integration are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software, Mechanical, Aerospace or Systems Engineering.
  • Coursework should be relevant to programming, controls design and/or electrical systems.
  • Experience and knowledge of microcontrollers - NXP PowerPC, ARM or TI preferred.
  • Track record of finishing assignments without compromising quality.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Williams International's Controls/Software Rotational Engineering Program across multiple engineering areas.
  • Rotations may include engine control design/test/certification, software design/test/certification, embedded hardware design/test/certification, and engine/component development test support.
  • After rotations, be placed into a regular engineering assignment aligned with company and individual needs.
