Job description

Engineer-RF - II

Max Bill Rate: ***

Supports engineers in project creation and task completion to support the network project build plan.

Create site design RFDS and complete plumbing diagrams.

Use propagation tools and RF-related equipment, such as MapInfo, Google Earth, and ATOLL, to compare site candidates, review and select propagation and coverage, zoning, and regulatory aspects.

Prepare and submit E-911 filings.

Determine regulatory coverage boundaries for extensions and handle FAA/FCC filings.

Prepare necessary zoning justification packages and regulatory filings for sites.

Collaborate with the real estate team to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline site acquisition, leasing, and zoning submissions.

Conduct RFE analysis, generate reports and documents, ensuring 100% compliance with RFE mitigation standards within deadlines.

Analyze sites and post-activation data to ensure project and database accuracy.

Automate processes where possible and share information with relevant teams.

Audit and update internal databases to ensure accurate project implementation and reporting.

Education/Certifications:

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in telecommunications.
