Description

Engineer-RF - II

Supports engineers in project creation and task completion to support the network project build plan.

Creates site design RFDS and completes plumbing diagrams.

Uses propagation tools and RF-related equipment such as MapInfo, Google Earth, and ATOLL to compare site candidates, review, and select propagation and coverage zoning, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Prepares and submits E-911 filings.

Determines regulatory coverage boundaries for extensions and FAA/FCC filings.

Prepares necessary zoning justification packages and regulatory filings for sites.

Works closely with the real estate team to increase efficiency, minimize costs, and streamline site acquisition, leasing, and zoning submission processes.

Conducts RFE analysis, generates required reports and documents, and ensures 100% compliance with RFE mitigation standards within the designated timeframe.

Analyzes sites and post-activation data to ensure project and database accuracy.

Automates processes when opportunities arise and shares information with teams.

Audits and corrects internal databases to ensure accurate project implementation and reporting.

• Topographical maps and digital terrain databases
• Antenna system design and use, including types, patterns, gain, EIRP, polarization, diversity, MIMO, and installation considerations
• Macro and small cell site design in various environments
• Data set analysis and manipulation
• Minimum 5 years of telecommunications industry experience

Education and certifications:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience in cellular/telecommunications industry

Pay range: $45.00 - $50.00/hr
