SMS InfoComm Corporation seeks a Quality Engineer to support the Quality System, coordinate audits, and drive corrective actions. The role interfaces with Engineering and Operations to ensure effective transfer to production of new products and to uphold the relevant quality requirements.

Responsibilities include creating quality documentation, preparing regular QA reports, and leading continual improvement activities such as 5S and Kaizen.

Qualifications

• ISO Auditor certification is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor level education preferred.
• English is required as either primary or secondary language.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare QA weekly, monthly, quarterly reports.
• Conduct audits and close audit findings with CAPA.

• Support continual improvement activities (5S, Kaizen lean).

SummaryA Quality Engineer provides statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples.Position Description/General responsibilities include:Assist with maintenance of the Quality System.Assist Quality Manager & Supervisor in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to Production of new products are in accordance with approved data.Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to internal/external customer complaints.Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.Continuously improving QA receiving inspection process and procedures.Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.Preparation of QA weekly, monthly, quarterly reports.Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.Develop training to build quality awareness.Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions.Manage suppliers performance and conduct audits.Education and/or ExperienceJob Requirements:ISO Auditor.Mid-Level Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Computer knowledge, functionality, technical interaction of sub-assemblies.English as either primary or secondary language.College Education: Bachelors Degree preferred.Additional Eligibility Criteria:External candidates who have the skills and experience to best meet the job requirements listed above and have proven success in similar roles.Other Personal Skills RequiredOrganization and Prioritization - This job requires the ability to clearly organize and categorize work priorities to complete your work.Critical analysis and complex problem solving -Reading Comprehension - Demonstrated ability to read, and follow written instructions and ideas.Manual Dexterity - This job requires the repeated and coordinated use of your hands, wrists, and fingers to use a computer keyboard, and other small handheld tools.Hands-on, ambition and drive to succeed - Makes things happen\"Goal oriented and must be accustomed to achieving results through team-workSMSs CompetenciesShows determination to achieve excellent resultsFinds better waysDemands top performanceInspires commitmentWorking ConditionMust be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment.
