Cooper-Standard Automotive, Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Engineer to act as the liaison between the customer and the company, overseeing vehicle component designs that align with functional, timing, and cost targets. This role involves leading technical activities related to design reviews, testing, and program meetings.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, five years of relevant experience, and expertise in engineering disciplines such as GD&T and DFMEA. The position offers a hybrid work environment.
The Senior Program Engineer is the liaison between the Customer and Cooper Standard in the creation and maintenance of vehicle component designs that meet the Customer’s functional, timing and cost targets. The Senior Program Engineer is the lead technical representative responsible for all engineering activities associated with their programs including Design Reviews, 3D math data, drawings, prototypes, DV and PV testing. Senior Program Engineers are also responsible for leading and attending all relevant program team meetings, supplier technical reviews, and, when required, run at rate events at our manufacturing plants.
Professional Office Environment. Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on manufacturing floor. Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required. Equipment used requires proper training on the potential for and avoidance of injury.
