Cooper Standard is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support plant staff in achieving quality objectives and driving continuous improvement. The role involves working with customers, leading APQP activities, and coordinating SPC and process audits.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality systems (QS-9000/TS16949), excellent communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to travel to customer plants and Cooper Standard sites as needed.
Responsible for day-to-day support to plant staff in developing and maintaining quality objectives through continuous improvement and direct customer coordination.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Office setting, customer visitation and plant floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to machinery with moving parts typical of a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment on plant floor is moderate and hearing protection is required while in the production areas of this location.
