Target is seeking an Engineer to support a large mobile device infrastructure, spanning headquarters, stores, and distribution centers. You will manage device profiles, MDM configurations and ensure security, reliability, and scalable patterns across Android and iOS platforms.
You will collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Support and Development teams, lead hardware upgrades, and provide advanced engineering support to ensure optimal device health and performance nationwide.
The pay range is $75,400.00 - $135,700.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.

As an Engineer, you serve as one of the technical anchors for the mobile engineering team that supports a product. Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs. Use your technology acumen to apply and maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies within Target's Mobile technology domain. Serve as an expert resource to create and improve standards and best practices to ensure stability, high-performance, scalability, repeatable, and secure deliverables. Provide the team with thought leadership to promote re-use and develop consistent, scalable patterns. Provide suggestions for handling routine and moderately complex technical problems Lead and participate in implementation activities, ensuring architectural and operational requirements met. Assist in providing new standards and best practices to monitor, test, automate, and maintain IT components or systems. Stay current with Target's technical capabilities, infrastructure, and technical environment.
The Team The Mobility Infrastructure team manages core mobile device capabilities at Target spanning headquarters, stores, and distribution centers, totaling 2,000+ locations. Agile team that enjoys solving complex business problems to enable device consistency across Target's array of device platforms for our guests and team members. This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs.
A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
