Job summary

ZF Foxconn Chassis Modules (ZFFCN) in Duncan, SC, is seeking a Material Planner to plan, order, and coordinate production materials to ensure a continuous supply to the assembly line. You will manage SAP-based material planning, negotiate with suppliers, and support inventory control and reporting.

The role requires 3+ years in supply chain or material planning, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar education or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in supply chain or warehouse/material planning activities.
• Experience in automotive industry preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, control, and coordinate production materials via SAP and MRP.
• Negotiate with suppliers on lead times and freight to control inventory.
• Develop part purchasing schedules based on production requirements.
• Manage inventory, fill rates, and reporting to align with plant goals.
• Communicate forecasts and information with customers and internal interfaces.
• Expedite production material according to schedule parameters.
• Improve delivery performance, inventory turns, and logistics costs.
