Elevance Health in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Engineer Lead to drive complex platform initiatives, manage requirements, and deliver scalable software solutions. • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.
• Seven (7) years in any occupation with engineering or related experience.
• Developing Restful webservices using Java/NodeJS.
• Designing and developing UI/UX for web applications using Angular.
• Developing Custom Data Models for DB's such as MongoDB.
• Data Science, AI/ML, and Cloud Technologies such as AWS.

Anticipated End Date: 2026-11-28 Position Title: Engineer Lead Job Description: Engineer Lead

Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 2505 N Highway 360, Suite 300, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Virtual: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

How You Will Make an Impact:

Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements.

• 5.0% Leads requirements gathering meetings and reviews designs with the business.
• 10.0% Leads efforts with Web and marketing team to increase the presence of web products.
• 3.0% May implement improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across major business-critical systems.
• 10.0% May implement process to reduce barriers and roadblocks in projects, services, and processes in order to operate more efficiently.
• 5.0% Owns the change request process and coordinates with other teams as necessary.
• 5.0% Develops and owns list of final enhancements.
• 5.0% Develops and defines application scope and objectives and supervises the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written.
• 5.0% Performs technical design reviews and code reviews.
• 5.0% Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.
• 5.0% Responsible for delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning effort.
• 10.0% Coordinates and manages on-call support and owns the system monitoring process.
• 1.0% Owns the technical development environment and works on the Enterprise team.
• 5.0% Leads multiple or large projects and facilitates large group JAD sessions for requirements, modeling in several disciplines.
• 10.0% Leads vendor evaluation and analysis.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.
• Seven (7) years in any occupation with engineering or related experience.

• Multi-dimensional platform experience
• Experience with business and technical applications
