Primary Purpose of Position: Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving supporting Power plant operations, acting as a resource and technical expert for engineers. Responsible for technical decisions, with excellent knowledge of industry codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses and programs.
  • Provide technical expertise to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
  • Lead short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations.
  • Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, adhering to standards and codes.
  • Conduct research, reviews, studies, and analyses for technical projects.
  • Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Perform site development engineering and project management for land development projects, including utilities, site layout, drainage, and permitting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering with 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 1 year as Engineer 3A.
  • Completed relevant skills and knowledge development training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to mentor other engineers.
  • Professional Engineering License.
