Mutual of Omaha is seeking a talented Engineer II/III to support our customer sentiment platform. This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about modernized capabilities around customer sentiment and feedback, providing quick insights to improve customer relationships.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

• Estimated Salary (Levels vary by responsibilities and qualifications):
• Engineer II: $100,000 - $125,000, plus annual bonus
• Engineer III: $120,000 - $145,000, plus annual bonus
• 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match
• Work-life balance with vacation, personal time, and paid holidays
• Applicants must not require sponsorship now or in the future

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Support AWS infrastructure for a customer sentiment analysis platform by optimizing ETL processes
• Integrate internally built and vendor applications into an event-driven architecture
• Understand the business area's objectives and challenges
• Evaluate options and performance tradeoffs
• Play multiple roles as needed, including contributor, lead, or mentor

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• 5+ years of experience with Java, Typescript, MuleSoft
• Experience with AWS CDK or similar (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis)
• Data experience with DynamoDB or similar cloud databases
• Experience developing unit tests and using version control
• Collaborative attitude, eagerness to learn new technologies
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion
• Ability to work remotely with reliable high-speed internet in the US or Puerto Rico
