Job summary

Three Notch Group seeks a Utility Project Manager in Asheville or Charlotte, NC to identify client and project opportunities, oversee water and wastewater projects, and develop proposals with scope, budget, and schedule. This role drives project success and client satisfaction on multi-million dollar initiatives.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in civil engineering, 10+ years of experience, a Registered Professional Engineer, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering and project management.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Identify client and project opportunities.
• Manage over $1,000,000 in net revenue for water and wastewater projects.
• Develop large proposals with scope, budget, and schedule with minimal oversight.
• Diagnose project financial issues and implement mid-course corrections.
• Support business development efforts in the Carolinas.

Three Notch Group is seeking a Utility Project Manager to join our team in Asheville or Charlotte, NC.

The applicant should have the ability to:

Identify client and project opportunities.

Successfully manage over $1,000,000 in net revenue for water and wastewater projects.

Assist clients in developing projects to meet critical success factors.

Independently develop large proposals to include scope, budget, and schedule with little to no oversight.

Diagnose project financial issues and make mid-course corrections.

Support business development efforts in the Carolinas.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

10+ years of experience

Registered Professional Engineer

Valid driver’s license

Management experience in municipal water and wastewater consulting (with a minimum of 8 years as a project manager)

Strong interpersonal skills enabling the candidate to develop and maintain strong client and teammate relationships
