This highly responsible, professional engineering position which utilizes technical skills and the application of scientific principles in the prevention and control of communicable disease transmission related primarily to drinking water and domestic wastewater. Many tasks are of a highly specialized, complex, technical nature requiring extensive training and experience that in many instances must be performed in the absence of supervision.
Eligibility for a Louisiana Engineer Intern Certificate.
NOTE: This is a temporary position to be utilized while the incumbent is securing a Louisiana Engineer Intern certificate. Permanent status shall be denied to incumbents occupying this position. NOTE: Louisiana Engineer Intern Certificates are issued by the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board. Licensing requirements may be viewed at www.lapels.com.
