Responsibilities

• Work in BIM using Revit and contribute to design standards.

Other duties may be assigned.* Review construction submittals for structural elements designed by Datum* Calculate structural loads (e.g., Wind Load, Seismic, Gravity, etc.) based on Building Codes.* Perform Structural Analysis and Design Calculations for beams, columns, diaphragms, lateral force resisting systems, and other holistic structural systems and components, for incorporation into Construction Documents.* Attend jobsite visits.* Assist with gathering information about buildings and construction in the field, either in existing facilities or facilities under construction.* Work in building information models using Revit, depending on your abilities.* Perform miscellaneous office tasks as needed, such as assistance with establishing and maintaining design standards.* Additional responsibilities commensurate with your interests or abilities.## Qualifications**Desired Education and/or Experience*** Enrolled in an accredited engineering program pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Architectural/Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a Structural Emphasis* Successful completion of college coursework in Structural Analysis and either steel design or concrete design.
