By joining our Developmental Branch as a Engineer In Training II in Franklin County, you’ll have theopportunity to work on meaningful transportation projects while helping shape the future of engineering acrossKentucky. You'll gain hands–on roadway design experience, develop expertise in OpenRoads Designer (ORD),contribute to statewide Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) standards and engineering policy, evaluate emerging technologies, and collaboratewith every Highway District.

EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with an accredited bachelor's degree in engineering.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have two years of engineering experience as an Engineer-In-Training.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A master's degree in engineering will substitute for one year of the required experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must possess a valid driver's license prior to employment in this job classification.
