Job summary

Commonwealth of Kentucky's Kentucky Transportation Cabinet seeks an Engineer-In-Training II in Frankfort to gain hands-on roadway design experience and contribute to statewide CADD/ORD standards. You will develop plans and models, test software, and collaborate with statewide engineers on diverse transportation projects.

Requirements include an Accredited B.S. in Engineering and two years of EIT experience; a Master's can substitute one year. A valid driver's license and licensure are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
Two years engineering experience as Engineer-In-Training.
Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with roadway design and project development.
Support statewide CADD and ORD initiatives.
Develop engineering plans, models and deliverables.
Assist with software testing and standards development.
Collaborate with engineers across Kentucky.
