Job summary

Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) in Fort Worth seeks an Engineer III (EIT) to assist with water system design across multiple projects, performing calculations, preparing reports, cost estimates, permits, and deliverables.

You will mentor staff, manage projects from start to finish, and coordinate with clients as part of a collaborative team. EIT certification and AutoCAD/Civil3D experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
3 years' experience in water/wastewater, municipal or conveyance projects.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
Experience with industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.

Responsibilities

Design and perform system design with calculations, equipment selection, layout and drawings.
Develop and review project documents, specifications and design options for code compliance.
Conduct site investigations and technical research to support design decisions.
Coordinate with technicians, assign tasks and ensure accuracy.
Apply standard engineering practices and software to deliver high-quality work.
Demonstrate knowledge of codes and design standards.
Build internal and external relationships.
