Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Master's degree in a related field and Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience; 6 years of experience may be preferred for some assignments.
• Valid Texas Class C driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test at city expense.

Responsibilities

• Design municipal water, sewer, storm drainage, and roadway/traffic systems.
• Review reports, drawings, specifications, and calculations for water and sewer systems.
• Review and approve storm water pollution prevention plans for new construction.
• Assist in residential, commercial improvement and subdivision plats.
