As a lead engineer at Asplundh Engineering Services, you’ll take ownership of complex distribution design projects, mentor teammates, and drive engineering excellence for major utility customers.
TheEngineer IIIserves as a senior technical expert responsible for overseeing the design of complex electrical distribution projects. You’ll apply advanced engineering judgment, interface directly with customers, guide project execution, and ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective design deliverables. This role includes opportunities for leadership and mentorship.
Applicants must be comfortable performing field work as needed. Safety protocols—including PPE, hard hats, eye/ear protection, and proper footwear—are strictly enforced. Fieldwork may require walking, standing, and carrying equipment for extended periods.
Engineer III roles often progress into Senior Engineer, Project Manager, Engineering Supervisor, or Technical Specialist pathways.
Salary for the Engineer III position will be based on experience, qualifications, and professional credentials. The compensation range provided is offered for transparency; however, final salary may be adjusted upward or downward depending on the selected candidate’s demonstrated expertise, technical skill level, and overall fit for the role.
