As anEngineer I, you will support the design and development of electrical distribution projects for major utility clients. You'll learn to translate field data and engineering principles into accurate, construction-ready job plans that meet customer standards. With guidance from senior engineers, you will build a strong technical foundation and progress toward independent project ownership.
Applicants must be comfortable performing field work as needed. Safety protocols- including PPE, hard hats, eye/ear protection, and proper footwear- are strictly enforced. Fieldwork may require walking, standing, and carrying equipment for extended periods.
Engineer I roles lead to advancement into Engineer II, Engineer III, or specialized engineering/leadership positions within AES.
