Job summary

Rivers Casino is seeking an Engineer III to perform essential preventative maintenance and repairs across the property, including plumbing, carpentry and drywall work. The role supports guest services by handling routine calls and scheduled upkeep.

You should be mechanically inclined with at least 1 year of maintenance experience, able to lift 50 pounds, and hold a current driver’s license. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required to operate across all shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in general maintenance procedures (preferred).
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot basic issues around the property.
• Must be knowledgeable in building maintenance and able to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues around the property.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and have the ability to use ladders and lifts.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Rivers Casino’s policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Replace damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles, and wall coverings.
• Perform preventative maintenance to equipment on a scheduled basis.
• Handle routine calls, prioritized by guest service needs.
• Plumbing, drywall repair, carpenter functions, and other trades as required.
• Maintain areas inside and outside the casino and keep free of trash and debris.
• Snow removal during winter months.
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Summary: Rivers Casino is seeking a versatile and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as an Engineer III, responsible for performing essential preventative maintenance and repairs across the property. In this role, you will handle a diverse range of tasks—including plumbing, carpentry, and drywall repair.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain areas inside and outside of the casino and keep free of trash and debris
