Job Description

This position is responsible for supporting Domino’s Supply Chain capacity projects through process engineering, production equipment integration, operational readiness, and continuous improvement. The role partners with internal stakeholders, equipment vendors, operations teams, and project leads to develop scalable process solutions that improve safety, quality, throughput, cost, and reliability across new supply chain center builds, relocations, expansions, and process optimization initiatives.

Process Engineering and Continuous Improvement
  • Lead process engineering efforts for assigned capacity projects, including production equipment layout, process flow, equipment specifications, utility requirements, installation readiness, commissioning, and operational startup support.
  • Analyze current and future-state supply chain center processes to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, labor efficiency, throughput, reliability, and cost performance.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, process mapping, standard work, and other continuous improvement methods to solve operational problems and sustain measurable improvements.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Procurement, Finance, PMO, Maintenance, Safety, and Engineering teams to develop practical process solutions that can be replicated across Domino’s supply chain network.
  • Support capital project planning by defining process requirements, validating equipment scope, reviewing vendor proposals, estimating project costs, and aligning technical solutions with business needs.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standards, lessons learned, startup checklists, training support materials, and project closeout information so improvements are repeatable and accessible in the future.
  • Define, monitor, and communicate key project and process performance indicators, including schedule progress, cost performance, operational readiness, throughput, quality, and improvement benefits.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and constraints that may impact project delivery or operational performance, and help develop corrective actions or contingency plans.
  • Facilitate cross-functional problem solving, lessons learned, and continuous improvement discussions with stakeholders before, during, and after project execution.
  • Use project management tools and structured communication to keep stakeholders aligned on scope, schedule, risks, decisions, and improvement opportunities.
Project Execution and Site Readiness
  • Coordinate with project leads, site teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure production equipment installation, process readiness, utilities, access, and startup needs are understood and integrated into the overall project plan.
  • Support design reviews by evaluating process flow, equipment placement, maintainability, sanitation, safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Issue project reports and readiness updates on a set cadence to appropriate levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure applicable internal standards, safety expectations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards are incorporated into project execution.
  • Oversee assigned equipment vendors and technical contractors related to process systems, production equipment, commissioning, and startup activities.
  • Review design documents, installation plans, startup schedules, and project risks to ensure timelines are met and contingency plans are in place.
  • Participate in project coordination, pre-installation, commissioning, and startup meetings with vendors and key stakeholders.
  • Anticipate regional, operational, or technical concerns that could affect equipment installation, startup, or long-term process performance.
  • Track and document open issues, punch list items, change impacts, vendor deliverables, and corrective actions through completion of assigned project scope.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to support process reviews, equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and operational stabilization.
