Job summary

The Engineer II, Controls will manage BAS services, perform upgrades, monitor software performance, and handle budgets and customer interactions. Expertise in building automation and good communication with clients is essential.

The role includes training sessions, progress reporting, and collaboration with other departments to meet contract standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• B.S. Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software.
• 3+ years in building automation system design, implementation, and project management.
• Minimum 1 year experience with building automation system project development or estimating.
• HVAC install experience is a plus.
• Distech or Reliable Controls experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, programs, monitors, maintains, and optimizes building automation systems and GUIs.
• Reports on service activities and progress regularly.
• Participates in project development and cost estimation activities.
• Responds to and rectifies customer issues or comfort complaints in a timely manner.
• Communicates with internal project resources and verifies contract standards are met.
• Manages contract budgets and reports progress.
