Veregy is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to design, implement and optimize building automation systems across commercial facilities. You will work on HVAC, lighting, access control, and energy-saving sequences while collaborating with project teams to deliver efficient, reliable solutions.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in building automation design, Tridium Niagara AX/N4 certification, and experience with Distech, Reliable Controls or Honeywell systems. Travel is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist engineering and project teams with design, programming, and commissioning of building automation systems.
• Write and optimize building automation control sequences to reduce energy consumption and increase facility efficiency.
• Assist project teams with design/construction documents for building automation systems and Veregy technology products.
• Perform pre-functional and functional testing on new building automation systems.
• Troubleshoot low voltage circuitry in the field and verify requirements are met.
• Respond to and rectify customer issues or occupant comfort complaints promptly.

Summary Of Position Functions

The Controls Engineer will quickly gain an understanding and working knowledge of Veregy’s technology products and building automation systems. The engineer will utilize this understanding to design, implement, and optimize building automation systems that control various commercial systems including HVAC, lighting, access control, etc. The engineer will optimize control sequences to reduce energy consumption and increasing facility wide energy efficiency.

Essential Position Functions

• Assist engineering and project teams with design, programming, and commissioning of building automation systems.
• Write and optimize building automation control sequences to reduce energy consumption in increase facility efficiency.
• Assist project teams with the creation of design and construction documents as they relate to building automation systems and other Veregy technology products.
• Perform pre-functional and functional testing on new building automation systems.
• Troubleshoot low voltage circuitry in the field and verify requirements are met.
• Respond to and rectify project customer issues or occupant comfort complaints in a timely manner.

Educational/Certification Requirement

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, or Software.
• Valid driver's license.

Required Experience

• 10+ years in building automation system design and implementation.
• Tridium Niagara AX / N4 certified.
• Distech, Reliable Controls, Honeywell experience is a plus.

Travel Required

• Position requires travel.
