As an Engineer II, Audio Electronics Design, you will contribute to the design, development, verification, and support of electronic circuits and printed circuit board assemblies for high-quality professional audio products.
In this role, you will work on analog, digital, power, mixed-signal, and embedded system hardware used in products such as wired microphones, wireless microphones, signal processors, conference systems, and related accessories. You will support the full product-development process, including circuit design, simulation, prototyping, hardware verification testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate can apply engineering judgment within defined procedures and practices, communicate clearly with project teams, and contribute hands-on technical work in a collaborative product-development environment.
This role is based in our Niles, IL headquarters and will be hybrid, on-site 4 days a week.

Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $90,600 to $145,000, with a midpoint target. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
