Motion Industries is seeking an Engineer II to perform calculations, analyses and support project teams on customer-focused engineering tasks. You will collaborate across departments to deliver results, prepare technical reports, and design solutions that meet specifications and schedules.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2–5 years of related experience, strong CAD skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.
Under limited supervision, the Engineer II performs engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned. The Engineer II collaborates with other employees to provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined problems. The Engineer II assists in preparing reports, graphs, planning layouts and summaries designed to communicate project progress or results.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and two (2) to five (5) years of related experience.
May require travel and specific safety training to work in dangerous and extreme environment conditions while collecting data or commissioning new systems at the customer’s location.
