Job summary

Parks Hospitality Group is seeking an on-site Engineer to oversee maintenance for Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh Cary and Doubletree Raleigh Cary. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain guest-facing systems, working closely with the Chief Engineer to keep the property in peak condition.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while mentoring others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance or construction‑related field, hotel preferred.
• Solid understanding of building maintenance principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Technical training or certification in a relevant trade is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, performing repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Assist with maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and reorder items as needed.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and equipment.
• Assist in training and mentoring other maintenance staff as needed.

Are you a skilled troubleshooter who takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship and wants to oversee the physical health of a premium hotel property?

At Parks Hospitality Group, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer to join our dedicated team. In this key role, you will be the go‑to technical expert on the floor—responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and executing a wide variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks. Working closely with our Chief Engineer, you will take ownership of our facilities to keep our property, equipment, and guest‑facing systems running in peak condition.

This position will work dual property, 262 guest rooms and meeting spaces all in one shared parking lot!

What You’ll Do:
