Job summary

Cencora, a leading health company, is hiring an entry-level software engineer in the United States (Kentucky). You will work within a team to apply established software and systems engineering practices, learning core concepts and tools used in day-to-day delivery.

We seek candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, less than 2 years of experience, and an interest in cloud fundamentals and Agile/Scrum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Less than 2 years of software/systems experience preferred.
• Certification in cloud fundamentals, Agile, Scrum preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply software and systems engineering procedures to routine tasks.
• Build foundational knowledge in a primary technical domain.
• Communicate task status, blockers and observations to the team.
• Monitor deliverables for accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Analyze routine issues and escalate nonstandard problems as needed.
• Coordinate with teammates on requirements and next steps for a project.
• Identify simple process or documentation gaps and share improvements.
