Rockline Industries is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide hands-on support for facilities equipment and manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment, quality, and productivity issues while driving continuous improvement and cost-savings initiatives.
The role emphasizes design input, equipment coordination, and training of technical staff, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing setting.
This position is designated as a Safety-Sensitive (A safety-sensitive position is one in which the associate's inability or impaired ability to perform their job-related tasks could result in a direct threat to the associate's safety or the safety of others).

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.) Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent with 2 years Process/Mechanical Engineering experience: alternatively non-degreed participants that can demonstrate required skills and aptitude with six (6) years of experience are acceptable. Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D for part and plant drawings, 3D/Inventor experience a plus. Proficient computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Power Point, and Project. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate utilizing written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills. Must be well organized with the ability to support and participate in multiple projects and tasks concurrently. Ability to develop training materials and effectively train adult learners. Capacity to enhance education and technical skills. Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control), Process Capability and Data driven problem solving. Experience with Team Based problem solving and process resolution.

2. Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

4. Work environment includes occasional noise >85db, hot and cold temperatures, fumes/odors, and cramped quarters; frequently surrounded by moving mechanical parts.
5. Requires ability to read, write, talk, hear, calculate, interact socially, and reason.
