Job summary

Analog Modules, Inc. is seeking an engineer to oversee all engineering and sourcing requirements for aircraft aftermarket parts. The role involves reverse engineering to design parts, creating 3D CAD models, and producing manufacturing drawings from dimensional data.

Job description

Oversee all engineering and sourcing requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design of commercial aircraft aftermarket parts by reverse engineering.
  • If required incumbent may use standard measurement tools such as a micrometer or caliper to gather dimensional data.
  • Create 3D CAD models and dimensional data reports from reverse engineering data.
  • Create manufacturing drawings of aftermarket parts from dimensional reports, material analysis, and available technical data.
  • Manage multiple reverse engineering projects simultaneously.
  • Create reports and data packages to be submitted to the FAA for certification.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling, with Solid Works experience preferred.
Requirements

Education / Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
